There are many things I love about this image. First and foremost, the amazing photograph by Idris Khan is stunning. I love Idris and his work, and this is one of my favorite examples. The amount of light in this room, designed by architect George Applegarth, adds drama to the solarium without making it feel separate from the rest of the space. Additionally, the original redwood columns give a sense of warmth and age to the room that contrasts beautifully with the contemporary lines of the Kurt Ostervig table and the glass wall and ceiling. A lovely mix of styles!
