I love seeing art in homes. As we are so used to seeing art in museums or galleries, it feels particularly special when we can glance into someone's home and see how they display the works they lovingly collect. While these three rooms are all quite museum-like, they still fit well within the domestic space. The first, a guest room in a weekend home outside Boston, features a beautiful gouache by Sol LeWitt over the bed. In the second image, a hallway in Anupam Poddar's Delhi home displays two works by Subodh Gupta (including one of my favorite early photographs by the artist). The third room showcases a fantastic collection, including photographs by Jeff Wall (left), Subodh Gupta (the same photograph in the image from Poddar's collection), Alec Soth (top), Stephen Shore, and Joel Sternfeld (right). Tara Donovan's sculpture made of paper plates rests on top of a Biedermeier table.
